The Valcourt Group’s Road to the World Cup extended far beyond the employees who received tickets. Across the company, branch watch parties brought employees together to celebrate their shared commitment to safety while cheering on their favorite teams.
Twelve branches earned World Cup watch parties by achieving established safety goals—a reflection of the teamwork and collective effort that defined the initiative.
From Safety Goals to Team Celebrations
The watch parties were the culmination of months of participation in the Road to the World Cup. Throughout the initiative, branches worked toward ambitious safety goals that exceeded the company’s already rigorous expectations. Reaching those goals required employees at every level to remain committed to working safely, looking out for one another, and supporting their teams every day.
“Safety is already at the core of how we plan and execute every project, and the Road to the World Cup reinforced that commitment. By emphasizing training, inspections, and accountability across every branch, we continued to raise the bar for safety company-wide.” — Stefan Bright, Corporate Safety Director
That shared commitment made the watch party celebrations even more meaningful. Employees gathered in national team jerseys, enjoyed food, and watched the matches alongside coworkers. The events brought office and field employees together in a relaxed setting while celebrating the teamwork that helped each branch earn its watch party.
